Insurance:
We bill insurance. We are Premera Blue Cross and Beech Street Network preferred providers and participate in Denali Kid Care and Medicaid.
Normal Clinic Hours:
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
Appointments:
All health care providers at Glacier Pediatrics leave adequate space in the schedule to accommodate sick children who need to be seen the same day. We welcome new patients.
Telephone calls:
Calls will be received throughout the day and dealt with as promptly as possible by either the nurse, nurse practitioner or pediatrician. If your problem is urgent, please tell the receptionist and your call will be handled immediately.
After office hours or night calls:
If an urgent situation occurs after the office is closed please call 796-8913 to get in contact with the pediatrician on call or go to the emergency room at Bartlett Regional Hospital.
Emergencies:
When true emergencies occur, they demand immediate attention. We advise that in an emergency situation you take your child directly to the emergency room at Bartlett Regional Hospital. For life threatening emergencies, call 911 and have trained paramedics transport your child. Proper equipment and physicians trained in emergency care are available at the emergency room 24 hours a day. The hospital will know how to reach the pediatrician when necessary. If your child is seen at the emergency room please sign any forms necessary to release the medical records to Glacier Pediatrics so we will have the information as part of your child's medical record. In the event of possible poisoning, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.
